    We wish to thank you for your help in finding an assisted living home for our Aunt Nelva. Your knowledge of the local industry and ability to access our needs presented us with many options. You saved us a lot of time, money and stress by helping us locate a home in a fast and efficient manner, arranging for a medical evaluation, and assisting with the transfer from the rehab facility. We also appreciated the after placement follow-up. Nelva was able to live the last months of her life in a peaceful and caring environment. Her caregivers were committed to making sure that her needs were met and that she was comfortable. It gave us peace of mind to know that she was in such good hands. Thanks again for your assistance.   • “A guardian angel…”

    Whenever it becomes necessary for a loved one to transition from independent living to an alternative/care residence, it is challenging for the whole family. Our journey was made simpler, though, through the professional guidance of Kathy McLaughlin of A Caring Heart, Senior Housing Referral Service, LLC. She was like a guardian angel to us on behalf of my 93 year old MiMi and helped us find the best fit. It was a happy occasion tonight to celebrate with a family dinner on the patio at her new place.     My mom was having a lot of medical difficulties since the beginning of the year. Her health really declined this past year and she passed away on Oct. 13, nine days after her 90th birthday. I want to thank you for all that you did to help me find good places for her care, and she might not have lasted this long without that good care.
